At the Southdowns Country Hotel, we have a range of excellent facilities available to our guests.

The Bedrooms

There are twenty nicely appointed bedrooms, all with en suite bathrooms. Naturally, TV, direct-dial telephone and tea / coffee making facilities are available in all rooms, and smokers and non-smokers are catered for alike. We are licensed to sell alcohol and Room Service can be ordered if preferred.

Leisure Facilities

Our < Kingfisher Club > offers a heated Indoor Swimming Pool, Sauna.

Restaurant Information

Morning Coffee and Afternoon Tea is available and there is a bar menu for snacks throughout most of the day.

In our Country Restaurant, there is a full à la carte menu available and the food is prepared to a high standard of excellence by our resident chefs, who are more than happy to cater for vegetarian requests and special diets. To compliment this, we have a rather good wine list which offers an extensive selection for those possessing a particular palate. Food is served at both lunchtimes and of course in the evening.

Lunches cost round about £5 - 10 and dinner about £20 - £25.00.

Conference Facilities

We offer the Harting Suite, a professional conferencing facility that is fully air-conditioned and has been designed as the ideal venue for your company conference, training seminar or exhibition. Audio visual equipment available that includes video and slide, with permanent back projection - operated by an infra red remote control handset. There is also fax and photocopying facilities and typing and secretarial support can be arranged by prior request.
