Meetings
We are happy to accommodate small one on one meetings in our Tudor Bar or residents lounge. Tea and coffee, biscuits, drinks and snacks are available. A phone call to ensure availability and notify the reception in advance is always preferable.
The hotel does have a small Meeting Room - The Elsted Room. This room can accommodate up to 25 people depending on lay out.
Alternatively if you are looking for a larger room to accommodate between 40 to a 100 delegates, we can convert our Conservatory Lounge, Function Room or Country Restaurant into your designated Conference room with the appropriate equipment as required.

Functions
Our Country Restaurant has now been redeveloped with our new function room allowing you to adjoin the two together enabling seating for up to 160 guests and can also accommodate approximately 220 guests for Lunch and Evening finger buffets.
If you are looking to hold a special event such as a Christening, Birthday party or an Anniversary then the Southdowns Country Hotel is an obvious choice. You can enjoy an aperitif on the front lawn or patio whilst admiring the stunning South Downs and then, gently retire to the comfort of the Country Restaurant and enjoy a menu selected by you and served by our friendly and well trained restaurant staff.
We have an excellent choice of function menus which start from £15.00 per person and the all inclusive packages start from £37.50 per person. Exclusive use of our hotel can be arranged for both functions & events.
